As a member of the Association of Independent Consumer Credit Counseling Agencies (AICCCA), you can be confident CCMS follows a strict Code of Practice. This partnership requires us to have an annual independent financial audit of all accounting practices, provide certified credit counselors, and pass annual ISO9001:2000 process audits as well as many other provisions assuring our clients of our commitment and integrity.

Being an AICCCA member, we are required to have Credit Counselors accredited by the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education (AFCPE). This means you are under the guidance of a financial expert who has completed the rigorous AFCPE test. Likewise, AICCCA membership requires ISO9001:2000 certification by Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQi). As with AFCPE, a BVQi ISO certification costs much more than industry imitators and takes more work, preparation and commitment. However, CCMS and the AICCCA believe only by facing the toughest standards can the credit counseling industry uphold the full trust and confidence of the public.

CCMS voluntarily partners with the United Way as a credit counseling agency and we are a member in good standing of the Better Business Bureau. We are also active partners with the JumpStart Coalition which is a clearinghouse providing a national database of personal finance resources available from a variety of education providers such as government, business and non-profit organizations.

Locally, we are affiliated with Palm Beach Community College and Palm Beach Lakes Community High School. Our employees participate in financial literacy programs as well as raise outside funds to sponsor scholarships and provide vital classroom reading materials. Through our affiliation with Front Porch Florida, a state agency dedicated to reclaiming urban neighborhoods, we give seminars throughout the community to educate the public in responsible management of credit, assisting in home ownership strategies and overall budgeting education.
