Mrs. Claudia Fehribach, a Debthelper.com FHA Roster Reverse Mortgage Counselor and Certified Personal Finance Counselor, was a guest speaker at a presentation on Reverse Mortgage Loans (Home Equity Conversion Mortgages or HECM) Saturday, December 12, 2009 at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Boca Raton. The presentation was entitled: "Why HECM? The Importance of Counseling"

The program was sponsored by Financial Freedom for members of the National Organization for Women (NOW). Approximately, thirty-five women attended the four hour program. According to Fehribach, the women had numerous questions regarding the government's reverse mortgage loan program for senior citizens 62 and over. One member of the audience actually had done a Reverse Mortgage some time ago and mentioned that the loan had improved her financial situation dramatically.

Fehribach also fielded a number of questions regarding debt management programs that save consumers money on their credit card bills. Financial Freedom sponsors similar programs throughout the year. Debthelper.com provided a Fehribach as a guest speaker to offer free financial education at no charge.
